What is the program about?

XCape Volunteers connects volunteers with township schools and preschools in Cape Town. You’ll support teachers with everyday tasks, bring stability into the classroom, and spend your time in a way that truly matters.

What you will be doing

  • Supporting teachers during daily routines
  • Playing, reading, and learning with the children
  • Helping with creative activities (art, games, movement)
  • Assisting in small groups and simple learning tasks
  • Help distributing the food and snacks
  • Creating a calm, supportive environment

What’s included

  • airport transport upon arrival
  • accomodation
  • breakfast (all week), lunch (Monday – Friday)
  • safe transport from accomodation to your school
  • Guidance before your start
  • Ongoing support during your stay
  • One excursion
  • 1-2 free surf lessons per week (including equipment) – depending on the duration of your stay

Duration options + prices

  • 1 week: 410€
  • 2 weeks: 790€
  • 3 weeks: 1200€
  • longer durations are also possible, just reach out to us 🙂

    Each stay starts on Sunday and ends on Saturday
